Ben York Jones (born February 11, 1984) is an American film actor and screenwriter best known for co-writing and starring in Like Crazy (2011) which won the Grand Jury Prize[1] at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival,[2] and playing Tom Nussbaum in Douchebag (2010) which was in Dramatic competition at Sundance the previous year.[3]

Early life and career

Though born on the East Coast, Jones grew up in Orange County, CA and began stage acting early in his childhood. He attended the Dodge College of Film & Media Arts at Chapman University.

He wrote and directed a short film called “Safety” with songwriter/producer Rory Uphold.[4]
