Bertrand J. Brown - Was principal of Intermediate School 201 in N.Y.C. His job as principal there culminated an extensive career with the Manhattan public school system, where he served in various supervisory capacities. He was also program director of the Each One Teach One city-wide program. Mr. Brown was an active educa tional consultant and a frequent guest lecturer. He served as a member of the Englewood Board of Education Elementary Advisory Committee, Title III, and was both a member of the Mayor’s Committee for Screening Potential School Board Members, and the Public Review Board. He has contributed articles to trade journals, and has received many awards, including the Educational Leadership Award, the Malcolm King College Appreciation Award, and the National Science Foundation Institute Award in Physics.
