Celia C. Chiu, Phd - received her Doctorate from Columbia University and later obtained a Meca-New World Montessori Certificate. She has published scientific papers, translated into English popular Chinese scientific papers, and introduced Montessori Early Childhood Education to Taiwan, China through its Chinese Science Monthly. She is research associate, St. Luke's Hospital and at National Tsing Hua University, where she formerly served as an associate professor. Previously she was assistant professor, Mt. Sinai Medical School. She has taught at the Bede School and the Bergen Chinese School. She is a volunteer secretary with the Cub Scouts and a member of the American Crystallo graphic Society, Sigma XI, Sigma Pi Sigma. [1]
