DeWitt L Crandell, MD - practices psychiatry and psychoanalysis in Manhattan where he also teaches at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital, the New York State Psychiatric Institute and Harlem Hospital. Formerly the director of a research training program in Psychiatric Epidemiology at Columbia, he has published several papers in this field. He is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, among other professional organizations, and is on the Board of the John Harms Englewood Plaza where his wife, Marian, is recording secretary. They have lived in the Englewood area for the past 16 years and their son, DeWitt II, and daughter, Jeanette, attended the Englewood Public Schools. [1]
