George Horton - Was president, Mann-Horton & Associates, |nc., and an industrial design consultant. A former president of Maverick International Inc. he has also been associated with the consumer products division of Corning Glass Works. In addition to several patents, his awards include Best Trade Show Booth, 40th Hobby Industry of America Show 1977, and he has published numerous articles in such leading trade journals as "lndustria| Design" and "Business Week". He is a member of the Englewood Board of Adjustment, the Englewood Economic Development Corp., and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He holds a BFA degree from the Rhode Island School of Design and studied in Rome and Milan, Italy. His daughter Lisa attended Dwight Morrow High School, and Jill also attended Englewood public schools. [1]
