Irving S. Reeve is notable for having served as Mayor of Englewood from 1934-1935. As a young man, at age 21, he was living in New York City and working as a "Law Clerk". [3]In 1928, (quite the traveler,) on return from Bermuda, he is listed alone, and living at 480 Liberty Rd [6]. In 1938 the family resided at 325 Marlboro Rd [1]. Then according to the 1940 Census, they had moved to 114 Beech Rd. [5] He became a prominent Attorney, and Bergen County Criminal Dist. Court Judge [4] , practicing at 1 Engle St., in Englewood. He was a Freemason and Shriner [4]. In 1946 he was the President of the Bergen County Bar Association. [7]
