John Elliott

John Elliott - is a filmmaker, artist, and designer-producer of numerous TV shows and commercials, and motion picture specials for major corporations. He has exhibited in many one-man shows including Metropolitan Museum of Art and the National Collection of Fine Art, and the Smithsonian Institution. He was awarded first prizes, Cannes Festival, 1965 and 1972, grand awards and special awards from the New York International Film Festivals. Chris Award and Gold Medal Freedom Foundation, 1970, Cine Awards in 1965 and 1975 among many others. He was a member of the Board of Directors, Pastel Society of America, National Arts Club, and member of the Society of Illustrators, NYC. He was editor of Pastellogram and has published articles in Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution periodical, and was cited by the 20th Annual Society of Illustrators as one of the top ten artist-filmmakers in the country.
