Mario L. Baeza - was a senior associate with the law firm of Debevoise, Plimpton, Lyons & Gates, N.Y.C. He was a member of the American Bar Association and the Bar Association of the City of NY. He previously worked for the Rand Corp., Santa Monica, CA, and has written articles for professional law journals. Mr. Baeza was also a composer and leader of the jazz combo, the Baeza Connection. He was negotiating with Columbia Records to effect a record contract for the combo, which around 1979 accompanied Dizzy Gillespie at the John Harms Englewood Plaza (now the Bergen PAC theatre).[1]
