Phyllis B. Kriegel' - was on the faculty, Bergen Community College, Division of Community Services. She is co-founderof Affirmative Teaching Associates, and associate book editor of New Directions for Women. She has written, developed courses, and lectured on the subject of “Women at Midlife”, and “Women and Aging”. Her approach is inter- disciplinary; integrating literature, sociology, and women’s history. This work has been presented at Sarah Lawrence, Bergen Community, Douglas and Ramapo Colleges, and at Tenafly and Ridgewood Public Schools. She is co-author of Women and the American Experience, is a member of the Institute for Research in History; and on the Board of Trustees, Planned Parenthood of Bergen County. Her daughter, Nancy, is a graduate of Dwight Morrow High School. [1]
