Roger Von Roth - whose professional name was Roger Forster, was a second generation Englewoodian, (son of Frederick George Richard Von Roth, Sr.) and a graduate of the Englewood schools. He began his radio career in 1937 and from 1955 was a staff announcer for CBS. He was a trustee of the Englewood Historical Society, 2nd elected president of the Englewood Volunteer Ambulance Corps and past vice president of the Englewood Club. [1]
